This Python code is the programmer equivalent of IT Crowd wisdom. It tries to find the maximum value in an empty list (which will throw an error), then catches the exception by... restarting the script. Essentially coding "have you tried turning it off and on again?" into your error handling. The digital equivalent of kicking the vending machine when your snack gets stuck.

You ask for a simple true or false , and suddenly you're parsing "Yes", "yeah", "Y", "true", "1", "ok", or my personal favorite: "success". The contract was clear—return a boolean. Instead, you get back a string that requires a whole new layer of validation logic. Now you're sitting there writing if (response.toLowerCase() === "true" || response === "1") like some kind of type-system archaeologist. Strong typing exists for a reason, people! The smugness on that kid's face? That's the exact energy of someone who just returned "False" with a capital F from an API endpoint.

That moment of sheer panic when you realize you just pasted over your entire codebase instead of copying it. Eight years of muscle memory betraying you in a single keystroke. The true horror isn't the mistake—it's that split second before you remember Ctrl+Z exists. And let's be honest, we've all done this at 4:59 PM on a Friday right before a deployment.

This is the most SAVAGE takedown of unit testing I've ever witnessed! 😂 Unit tests are SUPPOSED to verify your code works correctly, but instead we get these ABSOLUTELY USELESS tests that just confirm the painfully obvious! "By 30 you should have been born" is LITERALLY the equivalent of writing tests that assert 1+1=2 or checking if a string is a string. The absolute DRAMA of spending hours writing tests that do nothing but state the bleeding obvious while your actual code is on fire somewhere else. I can't even!

Classic case of two developers who think they're being efficient by dividing and conquering, only to discover they've been building two completely incompatible systems. Frontend dev is probably expecting JSON but backend's sending XML. Or maybe backend changed the API structure without telling anyone. Or frontend decided to add seventeen new features that require endpoints that don't exist yet. That handshake in the middle panel? That's them trying to connect their code. Spoiler alert: it doesn't fit. One month of zero communication, zero documentation, and zero API contracts later, they're both having a mental breakdown trying to figure out why nothing works. Should've used Swagger docs. Or Slack. Or literally any form of communication.
