Introductory Python Course: The Most Literal Interpretation

The Decorator pattern: for when you need to add functionality to an object but you're too fancy to just modify the class like a normal person. Instead, you wrap it in layers upon layers of decorators, like this distinguished amphibian wearing multiple layers of formal attire. Sure, you could've just added a method, but where's the sophistication in that? Now your codebase looks like an onion and every code review feels like a Victorian dinner party. At least you can tell your tech lead you're following SOLID principles while they try to figure out which wrapper does what.

Nothing starts a flame war faster than new programmers arguing about their first language. Python folks get all smug about readability, JavaScript devs cry about ecosystem dominance, and they'll fight to the death over semicolons and whitespace. Meanwhile, C programmers have transcended these petty squabbles. They've seen things. Segmentation faults at 3 AM. Memory leaks that brought down production. Pointer arithmetic that would make mortals weep. They've manually managed memory so long they don't even blink when someone mentions malloc. They just sit there, nodding knowingly, because they remember when computers had 64KB of RAM and you had to earn every byte. The real joke? Both sides of the Python vs JavaScript debate will eventually need to optimize something, drop down to C, and realize why the old guard just smiles and says "Yes" to everything. Because at the end of the day, your fancy high-level language is just C with extra steps and a garbage collector.
