Ah yes, the classic "my code is a complete dumpster fire but somehow works" versus "look professional for the commit" duality. Left side: messy cat representing the horrifying hacks and duct-tape solutions that miraculously make your code function. Right side: same cat in a tuxedo because suddenly we're all "clean code advocates" when it's time to push to the repo. As if adding comments and proper indentation at the last minute will hide the fact that your algorithm has the architectural integrity of a house of cards in a hurricane.
