And when we wanted more features? "Just use plugins!" they said, as if that's not the digital equivalent of duct-taping features to a broken chair! And don't get me STARTED on those update prompts. "Please update to version 37.0.0.69.march2023.jaguar" — WHO NAMES THESE THINGS? A cat walking across a keyboard?! Meanwhile, we're all sitting here like obedient little puppies clicking "Yes, please install updates" while staring at loading screens that tell us ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. 22GB download for what? A slightly different shade of blue in the UI? The betrayal is ASTRONOMICAL!

Nothing says "career pivot" quite like going from prison to React developer. The bell curve of developer self-awareness strikes again. On the far left, we have blissfully mediocre developers who know they're mediocre and have made peace with it. In the middle, the anxious majority frantically collecting skills like Pokémon cards because some LinkedIn influencer told them to. And on the far right, the enlightened souls who've mastered enough to realize that "mediocre" is just corporate-speak for "has a life outside of Stack Overflow." The true galaxy brain move is accepting your mediocrity while still getting paid the same as the try-hards.
