Yet Another CEO Pretending AI Takes Our Jobs

Yet Another CEO Pretending AI Takes Our Jobs
So the Salesforce CEO just casually announced they don't need to hire engineers anymore because AI is doing all the work, while simultaneously their company is "making billions." Cool, cool. Nothing dystopian about that at all. Here's the thing though: if AI is so productive that you don't need engineers, who exactly is building, maintaining, debugging, and updating these AI agents? Are they self-healing? Self-deploying? Writing their own unit tests and doing code reviews for each other? Because last time I checked, AI still hallucinates package names and suggests importing libraries that don't exist. The irony is that companies like Salesforce probably have entire teams of engineers working overtime to keep these "autonomous" AI agents from going off the rails. But sure, engineers are "no longer required" – just like how we were all supposed to be replaced by low-code platforms five years ago. Spoiler alert: we're still here, fixing the mess those created.

Zuckerberg Be Like

Zuckerberg Be Like
The guy who built an empire on addictive dopamine-driven feeds and infinite scroll mechanics doesn't even use his own products. There's Zuck casually strolling through a room full of people strapped into VR headsets like he's Neo walking through the Matrix, except everyone else is stuck in his simulation while he's out here breathing real air. It's the ultimate tech irony: create something so immersive that people can't look away, then personally avoid it like you know something they don't. Spoiler alert: he does. Same energy as tobacco executives who don't smoke or fast food CEOs with personal chefs. Build the metaverse, live in reality. Classic move.

The Data Harvesting Summit

The Data Harvesting Summit
The annual tech CEO parking lot summit where they compare notes on who can collect the most user data while still claiming "privacy is our top priority" in their ToS. Meanwhile, their developers are frantically building backdoors while telling themselves "it's just for analytics purposes." The real innovation isn't in their products—it's in the increasingly creative ways they convince us to click "I Agree."

Literally The Only One

Literally The Only One
The internet's favorite pastime: declaring "All big tech CEOs are bad"... until they remember Gabe Newell exists. The meme perfectly captures the cognitive dissonance of tech communities who rage against corporate overlords until their beloved Steam lord appears. Suddenly it's all confused SpongeBob faces trying to reconcile their anti-CEO stance with their undying love for the guy who delays Half-Life 3 for another decade while swimming in Valve money. The exception that proves the rule? Or just proof that giving away games at 90% off during seasonal sales buys a lot of goodwill? Either way, Gaben remains the unicorn CEO who somehow escapes the pitchforks.
