Thats Right The Square Hole

Someone asks Flutter devs to explain their framework choice in 3 words. The top answer? "Not fucking JavaScript." But wait—they meant Java Script , not Java. Classic case of hating something so much you accidentally insult its distant cousin at the family reunion. Flutter uses Dart, which lets you avoid the npm dependency hell and the "works on my machine" lottery that comes with modern web frameworks. No bundlers, no transpilers, no questioning your life choices at 2 PM on a Tuesday. Just pure, compiled-to-native performance. The relief is palpable. The real joke? Java and JavaScript have about as much in common as car and carpet, yet both get blamed for everything wrong with software development. At least Flutter devs know which one they're running from.

Content SABOTAGE: Student adds bugs to the code on purpose! Intern Gets Job at ByteDance, Sabotages Neural Network Development Project for Two Months Programmer Keyu Tian got an internship at the Chinese company ByteDance and spent two months sabotaging a neural network development project by deliberately introducing errors into the code. Because of his actions, a team of thirty developers spent 247 searching for and fixing bugs that appeared in the project. The investigation revealed that Tian: Systematically uploaded Pickle files with malicious hidden code that contained viruses and other dangerous components. This code was executed automatically and randomly, so the team could not understand why their efforts did not lead to stabilization of the project Gained access to the PyTorch library on which the projects were based and made small changes to it daily, which led to program crashes. The developers did not check the source code, which is why tasks continued to fail with errors and bugs, and all experiments brought incorrect results Created chaos with checkpoints, files that save intermediate states of neural networks during their training. He changed model parameters, interfered with training data, or deleted checkpoints, which is why the team's work results disappeared and could not be restored Actively participated in work meetings, which allowed him to remain unnoticed. He attended every meeting to find out about the team's plans to fix bugs, and then created new ones. The team could not understand what was happening; Tian was exposed by logs. ByteDance reported that thirty developers worked for two months without results due to the destructive actions of one person, which led to the failure of the project deadlines and the loss of customer funds After Tian was fired from ByteDance, his mentors at university did not condemn or punish him. Ah, the classic "dedicate an entire hard drive to node_modules" approach. When your dependencies need more space than your operating system, university education, and actual web development code combined. That 402GB drive labeled "node_modules" isn't even a joke anymore—it's just documentation of the JavaScript ecosystem's storage requirements. At this point, NASA could've sent npm install to Mars and back with less data than what's sitting in that folder.

The perfect visual representation of modern software development. The comic shows a recursive nightmare where dependencies contain dependencies that contain... you guessed it, more dependencies! Just like that time I pulled in a simple date formatting library and somehow ended up importing half the internet. The recursive image within itself is chef's kiss irony – the meme about dependency hell is itself caught in an infinite dependency loop. Next sprint I'm just gonna write everything in C like it's 1972.

English teachers casually dismissing semicolons while CS students have existential breakdowns at the mere thought of forgetting one. In languages like C, Java, and JavaScript, that tiny punctuation mark is the difference between working code and a compiler having a mental breakdown. Nothing says "character development" like spending 3 hours debugging only to discover you missed a semicolon on line 247. The compiler doesn't care about your feelings; it just wants its syntactic sugar.
