Imagine debugging JavaScript for a device that was obsolete before most of today's frameworks were even conceived. The poor soul who discovered this input event bug on a Nintendo 3DS browser in 2012 deserves a medal for their suffering. This StackOverflow archeological find showcases the special kind of hell reserved for developers who support legacy gaming consoles. While the rest of us complain about Safari bugs, somewhere out there is a developer forced to make their code work on a tiny dual-screen device with processing power comparable to a smart toaster. The second commenter's relief is palpable. Their "I'm glad my employer doesn't make me verify web code for Nintendo 3DS" might be the most sincere prayer of gratitude ever uttered in tech. Not all heroes wear capes—some just have employers with reasonable browser support requirements.

Ah yes, the classic "let's ditch the framework" presentation that conveniently forgets to mention they also fired half their users. Sure, your TTI improved by 50% when nobody's using your app anymore! Next slide: "By replacing our database with a text file, we saw a 99% reduction in storage costs!" The JavaScript pendulum swings once again—React is bloated! Vanilla JS is king! Until next quarter when they'll discover this amazing new framework called *checks notes* Angular.

The eternal struggle between CSS and JavaScript in a nutshell! CSS knows with absolute certainty that links are purple after they've been visited (the :visited pseudo-class has traditionally defaulted to purple in browsers). Meanwhile, JavaScript is having an existential crisis thinking the link is blue, then questioning its own color perception abilities. Fun fact: JavaScript actually can't access the true styling of visited links for security reasons - browsers restrict this to prevent history sniffing attacks. So JS is literally colorblind when it comes to :visited links! Poor JavaScript, forever doomed to see unvisited styles only.
