So you can suggest rewriting the entire codebase in Rust? Fine. You can claim Python is superior to C++? Sure, go ahead. But the moment you mention using GOTO in your code, suddenly everyone transforms into Dijkstra's ghost ready to excommunicate you from the programming community. The programming world has this hilarious hierarchy of acceptable heresies. Language wars? Totally cool. Tabs vs spaces? Bring it on. But GOTO? That's where we draw the line, apparently. It's like the one universally agreed-upon sin that transcends all other debates. Fun fact: Dijkstra's famous 1968 letter "Go To Statement Considered Harmful" basically turned GOTO into programming's forbidden fruit. Now it exists in most languages but using it is like admitting you eat pizza with a fork—technically possible, but socially unacceptable.

You know that sweet, sweet moment when your build finally passes and you're feeling like a coding god? Then you notice the only thing standing between you and victory was... unused imports. Not logic errors, not race conditions, not some cursed memory leak—just variables you imported and forgot about like old gym memberships. The relief is real but also slightly embarrassing. It's like preparing for a boss fight and realizing you were just battling your own shoelaces. Your linter is out here doing the Lord's work, keeping your codebase clean while you're over here importing half of npm for a single function.
