Claude asks which option you prefer. User declines to answer. Claude asks for clarification. Bakes for 36 seconds. Then just says "bro just do the best" and starts coalescing. Nothing says "I trust this AI with my production code" quite like watching it have an existential crisis, timeout mid-thought, then basically shrug and YOLO your entire codebase. That 36-second bake time? That's Claude contemplating the meaninglessness of user preferences before deciding executive decisions are above its pay grade. The "Coalescing..." at the end is chef's kiss. It's not crashing, it's not erroring out—it's coalescing . Sounds way more professional than "giving up and merging whatever chaos emerges."

The forbidden Snickers—now with extra pointer problems! Someone replaced the nougat with C++ code that's leaking memory faster than a chocolate bar melts in your pocket. First allocating memory for 10 integers, then immediately orphaning it by reassigning the pointer to new memory, and finally deleting only the second allocation. That first chunk of memory? Gone forever, like your sanity after debugging someone else's code at midnight. The real horror this Halloween isn't ghosts—it's the garbage collector that never comes.
