The number 4 really said "I'm not like other numbers, I'm different now" and went full character arc. Started as the humble square root of 16, now it's out here cosplaying as 6-7 like it's auditioning for a role in a math identity crisis drama.
Programmers have been on this weird crusade lately where 4 keeps popping up everywhere—4 spaces vs tabs, IPv4 refusing to die, HTTP/4, the sacred rule of 4 in clean code... and now apparently 4 has had enough of being typecast and wants to expand its range. Next thing you know, 4 will be identifying as a prime number and we'll all just have to accept it.
The "Look at me, I'm the captain now" energy but make it mathematical. Peak number theory rebellion right here.
