I Have Won But At What Cost

The modern developer's version control system: ChatGPT. Sure, we've evolved from USB sticks to Google Drive, but some of us have ascended to a higher plane of chaotic development—keeping our precious code snippets in chat history with an AI. Nothing says "senior developer with impeccable practices" quite like frantically scrolling through your conversation history at 2 PM during a production outage trying to find that one clever function you wrote last month. Git who? Never heard of her.

Content ankit WtFawwk starts typing a new line of code IDE: what is that? what are you writing? tell me right now! wtf? that's not right! is that even rea.. completes the line IDE: oh lol nvm. 9:26 PM - 08 Jun 20 Twitter for Android

Content DevOps You're just a cheap ficking knockoff. DevSecOps Oh no, I'm the upgrade.

Management: "We need to optimize our AI costs, so we're tracking token usage now." Devs: *immediately starts crafting the most elaborate, token-burning prompts known to humanity* Nothing says "I understand cost optimization" quite like asking an AI to generate a list of resource-intensive prompts and then executing all 20 of them. The sheer chaotic energy of this move is chef's kiss. It's like being told to conserve water and responding by filling an Olympic swimming pool. The nervous smile really captures that beautiful moment when you're about to blow through your quarterly AI budget in approximately 47 seconds while maintaining perfect eye contact with the finance department.

The descent into absolute madness, beautifully illustrated through increasingly chaotic clown makeup. First panel: "Devs are obsolete" – sure Jan, whatever helps you sleep at night. Second panel: casually claims to have built an entire SaaS over a weekend because apparently we're all just speedrunning capitalism now. Third panel: starts throwing shade at senior devs for "slacking off" when they're probably just, you know, writing maintainable code and attending their 47th meeting of the day. Final panel: *chef's kiss* – the LLM catastrophically destroys their login page and they're asking "what's git?" The irony? They went full circle from thinking they're a 10x developer to not even knowing version control exists. The clown makeup progression is *perfect* because they literally became the entire circus. Time to learn git before you get rekt, friend.
