Project says it needs Python 3.13+. You dutifully upgrade from your perfectly stable 3.12 setup. Install the dependencies. Run the code. "Doesn't work." Of course it doesn't. Because apparently version requirements are more like gentle suggestions written by someone who hasn't actually tested their own project. Now you're stuck in dependency hell, your virtual environment is screaming, and you're seriously considering a career change to goat farming. The best part? Rolling back to 3.12 probably would've worked fine with a single line change in requirements.txt.

THE DUALITY OF PYTHON DEVELOPMENT IS SENDING ME! 💀 Left side: Your virtual environment (.venv) containing 47 BILLION dependencies because apparently you need an entire library to convert a string to lowercase. Right side: Your actual source code (.src) that's basically three lines of code calling those monstrous packages to print "Hello World" with extra pizzazz. The absolute TRAGEDY of modern development - 99% dependencies, 1% original thought. Yet we have the AUDACITY to call ourselves "developers" when we're basically just professional package installers!

Oh. My. GOD! The AUDACITY of Python dependency hell! 😱 You have TWO choices in life: somehow get your Python app running without the universe imploding OR just draw 25 cards and accept your fate like the rest of us mere mortals! Virtual environments were SUPPOSED to save us from this nightmare, but here we are, drowning in a sea of conflicting packages while frantically Googling "why is my pip install broken" for the 47th time today. The whole "it works on my machine" saga has evolved into "it works in my SPECIFIC venv with THESE EXACT versions created under a FULL MOON while STANDING ON ONE LEG." Just look at that face of resignation. That's the face of someone who's accepted that they'll be installing and uninstalling packages until retirement age. We've all been there, honey! 💅
