Display-flex Memes

Learning CSS flexbox is like entering a toxic relationship where you think you're in control, but really you're just guessing which combination of properties will finally make that div behave. You add display: flex , feeling confident. Then justify-content: center . The elements move... somewhere. Not where you wanted, but somewhere. So you try align-items . Then flex-direction . Maybe throw in a flex-wrap for good measure. At some point you're just cycling through every flexbox property like you're spinning a slot machine, hoping three cherries line up and your navbar finally looks decent. The Anakin/Padme format captures that moment of dawning horror when you realize CSS doesn't care about your feelings or your deadlines. "The elements go where I want them, right?" ...Right? Narrator: They did not go where they wanted them.

Just slap these three lines in and suddenly everything's centered like magic. Been doing this for years and still couldn't explain how it works if my life depended on it. Works every time though.
