When your smart TV is so "smart" it's literally just a surveillance device with Netflix capabilities. LG screens watching you watch them, collecting every click, every pause, every guilty pleasure show you binged at 2 AM. The real question isn't whether they're spying—it's what they're doing with the knowledge that you rewatched The Office for the 47th time. Privacy policies? More like "we're definitely selling your data" policies wrapped in legal jargon. At least traditional TVs had the decency to just show you ads instead of becoming the ads themselves.
