PC gamers have achieved what no amount of economic pressure could: complete immunity to market forces. Billionaires keep jacking up GPU and RAM prices, thinking they'll finally break the spirit of the master race, but nope. The gaming rig just keeps downgrading while the dedication stays maxed out. From RTX3060 with DDR4 to a GTX660 with DDR2 and a spinning rust HDD, the specs keep getting worse but the boat stays full. The progression here is genuinely impressive: we went from 1080p gaming to 720p, from SSD to HDD, from modern GPUs to cards that were old when Obama was president. Yet PC gamers just shrug and lower the graphics settings. The "QUIT HAVING FUN" rage in the third panel captures the essence perfectly. Billionaires can't comprehend that people will literally game on a potato with integrated graphics before they switch to console. You can take away their ray tracing, their high refresh rates, even their ability to run Crysis, but you'll never take away their Steam libraries and mod support.
