Someone at Dyson really looked at a hand dryer and thought "you know what would make drying hands better? A database." Because nothing says "efficient bathroom experience" like your hand dryer querying a relational database before deciding whether you deserve warm air. The "dB" label (decibels, for measuring sound) gets hilariously mistaken for "database" thanks to the classic database icon floating above it. Now every developer who sees a Dyson hand dryer will wonder if it's running PostgreSQL or MongoDB to track hand-drying metrics. Plot twist: it's probably collecting telemetry on how many times people give up and wipe their hands on their pants instead.
