So we've reached the point where installation scripts are so convoluted that the official recommendation is "just let AI handle it." The fact that curl | bash was considered the nuclear option for decades, and now we've somehow invented something even more cursed, is honestly impressive. Nothing says "stable software ecosystem" quite like delegating your entire installation process to a probabilistic text generator. What could possibly go wrong when you point Claude at your bundled installer prompt? At least with curl | bash you knew exactly what nightmare you were piping into your shell. Now you get to play Russian roulette with whatever the AI decides to hallucinate today.
