TypeScript devs really out here thinking they're intellectuals for adding type annotations, then get genuinely confused when people don't want to hear about it at parties. Like yeah bro, compile-time type checking is cool and all, but maybe leading with "I love statically typed languages" on a first date isn't the power move you think it is. The blocking is harsh but fair. Some of us learned the hard way that normal humans don't care about your `any` type trauma or how generics saved your refactor last Tuesday. Save that energy for the standup where at least people are contractually obligated to pretend they're listening.
