It's the classic tradeoff - use a commercial engine and get destroyed by licensing fees, or build your own and get destroyed by feature creep. Either way, your game is never shipping.

Asking for coding help on social media is like walking into a jungle full of predators. The math checks out. That 1% of actual coding is probably just typing "console.log" or changing variable names. The other 99% is the true developer experience - an endless cycle of staring at error messages, questioning your career choices during coffee breaks, and the silent bonding ritual of group debugging where everyone looks confused together. First it's 10 HP, then suddenly 5471 HP. That's not a bug anymore—that's a full-blown boss battle with terrible scaling mechanics. Just like when you fix one null pointer exception only to discover you've created an infinite loop that's eating all your memory. The more you hit it, the stronger it gets.
