Bad Software Good Sex

Silent programmer staring intensely at the screen... Object-oriented languages promised us a beautiful world of reusable components, inheritance hierarchies, and elegant abstractions. Meanwhile, half of us are still trying to figure out why our getter methods are returning undefined and why everything breaks when we touch that one class that somehow connects to 47 other classes. The deafening silence in response to "SCREAM IF YOU LOVE OBJECT ORIENTED LANGUAGES" is the most honest code review I've ever seen.

First-year CS student discovers that C++ is faster than Python and suddenly thinks they're Linus Torvalds. Meanwhile, the rest of us are out here writing buffer overflows and memory leaks in both languages like true professionals. Sure, your C++ might be faster, but at what cost? Your sanity? Your weekends? The ability to remember where you allocated that pointer? Python devs know the truth: we trade a few milliseconds for not having to debug segfaults at 3 AM. But go ahead, young padawan, write your unsafe code. We'll be here when you realize that premature optimization is the root of all evil, and that "fast" doesn't mean much when your program crashes before it finishes.

OH. MY. GOD. The absolute MELTDOWN happening here is what I live for! 💅 This poor soul is having an existential crisis because people keep saying "Golang" instead of just "Go" and I am LIVING for this level of rage! The tea is SCALDING hot: Go was named "Go" - short, sweet, impossible to Google. But nooooo, people had to start calling it "Golang" because otherwise you'd be searching for a VERB instead of a programming language. The AUDACITY! And now this person is threatening to rename everything! "Rustlang"! "TypeScriptyMcTypeFace.io"! The DRAMA! The THEATRICS! All because some developers can't stick to the official two-letter name that's basically unsearchable online! I'm framing this rant and hanging it on my wall. Peak developer frustration caught in the wild! *chef's kiss*

Ah yes, the existential crisis of every Python developer. Born in 1991, older than Java (1995), yet somehow still the awkward middle child of programming languages. The counter showing "0 days without suicidal thoughts" is just *chef's kiss* perfect. Meanwhile, Java's out there running banking systems and Android, while Python's still trying to convince everyone that "no really, we're enterprise-ready too!" despite spending most of its time doing data science homework and gluing together other people's actual technologies. The bearded dev staring into the void with coffee is all of us who chose Python for its "simplicity" only to realize we picked the language equivalent of a participation trophy.
