For Linux desktop devs, the Wayland protocol drama is real. This meme brilliantly pokes fun at the xdg-decoration protocol, where client-side decorations (CSD) are forced upon us whether we like it or not. The "APP" and "DE" (Desktop Environment) are happily consenting to client-side decorations, while poor Wayland ("W") is screaming "I DON'T!" — yet nobody bothers to ask the actual window manager what it wants.
