Nothing says "hire me" quite like a GitHub repo featuring the greatest hits: final_project.py , final_project_new.py , final_project_latest.py , and the masterpiece final_project_ACTUALLY_FINAL.py . Bonus points for the commit message "fixed the thing that broke the other thing" at 3:47 AM. The recruiter's polite corporate-speak translation: "Your version control is a dumpster fire and we're genuinely concerned about your organizational skills." They really went with "we appreciate your enthusiasm and creativity" when they meant "please learn Git before you hurt yourself or others." That closing line though? "We wish you success in your future debugging endeavors" is the professional equivalent of "thoughts and prayers." Brutal but deserved.
