Hot-glue Memes

Oh honey, you thought you were getting the deal of the century on AliExpress, didn't you? A 16TB SSD for the price of a pizza? SHOCKING PLOT TWIST: it's literally a tiny SD card hot-glued to some random circuit boards, all wrapped up in a beautiful white plastic case that screams "I'm a legitimate product, trust me bro." The scammers really said "let's make it THICC so it feels premium" and just stuffed it with whatever electronic garbage they found lying around. It probably reports 16TB to your OS through firmware trickery, but the moment you try to store more than 32GB, your data enters the void never to be seen again. The hardware equivalent of a Potemkin village, except instead of fake buildings, it's fake storage that will absolutely OBLITERATE your precious files. If it's too good to be true, it's probably held together with hot glue and broken dreams.
