Genetics Memes

When your biologist friend is casually pondering the genetic code table (you know, just thinking about how UUG codes for Leucine), meanwhile you're over here mentally debugging a recursive tree traversal function with nested conditionals that looks like it was written during a fever dream. Both are equally valid ways to spend your mental energy, right? The contrast is beautiful: one person is thinking about the fundamental building blocks of life itself, while the other is wrestling with Python code that's doing... something with AST nodes and symbol tables. One creates proteins, the other creates bugs. Different disciplines, same existential crisis about whether you truly understand what you're looking at.
