Next up: Sony patents spheres, Microsoft claims exclusive rights to rectangles, and EA announces you'll need to pay $9.99 to unlock the concept of edges. The patent lawyers must be absolutely thriving right now. "Your Honor, my client clearly invented the concept of three-dimensional objects with right angles back in 2001 with the GameCube!"
