Forget Test Driven Development—we're out here running on pure spite and protein shakes. Nothing motivates you to lift heavier than realizing your entire architecture needs to be refactored because you didn't think about scalability three years ago. The gym is cheaper than therapy and your therapist doesn't understand what a race condition is anyway. At least muscle failure has progressive overload. Career failure just has more meetings about "learnings" and "growth opportunities."
