Can't wait to see what happens when your app hits production in Turkey where "i".ToUpper() becomes "İ" instead of "I", or when dates decide to format themselves in ways that would make a calendar weep. String manipulation without culture awareness is basically playing Russian roulette with internationalization. Sure, it works fine on your machine in en-US, but the moment someone in a different locale touches it, you've got yourself a one-way ticket to Stack Overflow at 2 AM trying to figure out why Turkish users can't log in.
