That "40-day trial" has been the longest trial in human history, and we all know nobody ever bought it. The sweating guy reaction is spot-on because deep down, we all knew this day might come. WinRAR has been the most patient creditor in tech history, watching us extract thousands of ZIP files while clicking "Later" on that purchase reminder like it's a snooze button. The threat of "you'll hear from our lawyer" hits different when you realize you've been using their software longer than some junior devs have been alive. Honestly though? Still gonna click OK and keep using it. WinRAR's business model is basically running on guilt and good faith at this point.
