Remember when AI was gonna take all our jobs and we'd be obsolete by Tuesday? Yeah, Pepperidge Farm remembers. Turns out "prompt engineers" are about as effective at replacing actual developers as a chocolate teapot. While everyone was panicking about ChatGPT writing flawless code, those of us in the trenches are still here, debugging the same garbage we've been debugging for years. Except now we also get to debug the AI-generated garbage too. Job security never tasted so bitter.
