For decades, WinRAR has politely asked users to purchase a license after the 40-day trial expires... and for decades, users have masterfully ignored that request while continuing to extract files without missing a beat. The "Ok" button might as well be labeled "Remind me for the next 15 years." It's the longest-running subscription service that nobody actually subscribes to. The digital equivalent of saying "I'll think about it" to a street vendor and then walking away forever.
