The genie offers 3 wishes, and our clever protagonist immediately spots the infinite loop exploit: "I wish you don't grant this wish!" The genie's brain starts processing the paradox—if he grants the wish, he's not granting it, but if he doesn't grant it, he IS granting it. Cue the stack overflow as the poor genie's logic enters an infinite recursive call with no base case. His processor is literally melting trying to evaluate if (grantWish()) { return !grantWish(); } until the call stack explodes. It's basically the programming equivalent of "this statement is false" but weaponized against magical beings. Maximum recursion depth exceeded, genie.exe has stopped responding.
