Guice Memes

Google can insist all day that it's pronounced "juice," but literally nobody is calling it that. We've all been saying "gw-ice" since day one and we're not stopping now. The entire Java community has collectively decided that Google's pronunciation guide can go straight into /dev/null. It's like when someone names their kid "La-a" and insists it's pronounced "Ladasha." Sure, you can tell us the rules, but we're still going to pronounce it the way our brain wants to. The framework might inject dependencies, but it can't inject correct pronunciation into our stubborn developer brains. Also, calling a dependency injection framework "juice" sounds like something you'd order at a smoothie bar, not import into production code.
