Game studio builds entire game using Unreal Engine's Blueprints visual scripting system, sells 8 million copies, makes bank. Epic Games casually announces they're deprecating Blueprints in the next major version. Classic move. It's like building your entire infrastructure on a framework and then watching the maintainers ghost the project. Except this time it's a billion-dollar company doing it to actual commercial products. The "that's great and all but" energy is immaculate here. Nothing says job security like having to rewrite your entire codebase in C++ because someone at Epic decided visual scripting wasn't cool anymore.
