Five-stages Memes

The five stages of grief, but make it developer edition. First you hit ESC like a civilized person. Then you're mashing it repeatedly because surely the problem is you didn't press it hard enough. Next comes the Shift+ESC combo because maybe VIM is just being shy. Then you panic-grab the mouse like it's a life raft, desperately clicking anywhere that might save you. Finally, you're just standing there, staring at the screen, contemplating your life choices and wondering if it's too late to become a farmer. The real kicker? You still haven't exited VIM. You'll probably just restart the computer at this point. We've all been there, and anyone who says they haven't is either lying or has never accidentally opened VIM while trying to edit a config file.
