So you decided to learn regex? Congratulations, you've just signed up for deciphering ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. That cryptic wall of symbols makes about as much sense as ^(?=.*[A-Z])(?=.*\d)(?=.*[@$!%*?&])[A-Za-z\d@$!%*?&]{8,}$ does to a beginner. Both require you to stare at incomprehensible patterns until your brain gives up and accepts that maybe some knowledge was meant to stay buried. Fun fact: By day three, you'll either become a regex wizard or just use .split() and .replace() for everything like the rest of us mortals.
